I’ll be brief today. It is extremely disheartening that so many Americans — most of whom are decent people at heart — proudly voted for a rapist, felon, and conman over a prosecutor, senator, and vice president. Quite frankly, I’m stunned and saddened.

Our actions are teaching young boys and girls all the wrong lessons on consent, bodily autonomy, and simply what it means to be a compassionate human being.

I fear for North America’s collective future.
